Al-Hasa festival support: Tamimi Markets praised

Prince Saud bin Nayef, governor of the Eastern Province, has awarded a certificate of appreciation to Tamimi Markets for being a gold sponsor of the 2014 Al-Hasa Festival of Palms and Dates. Khaled Almayoof, manager of investments and public relations, accepted the award on behalf of Tamimi Markets.
“Tamimi Markets was honored for supporting this event because the people of Al-Hasa are very important customers to us and the dates of Al-Hasa are known for their quality around the world,” said Mohsen S. Husain, CEO of Tamimi Markets.
The date industry has been a successful one and agricultural tradition in Al-Hasa for many years. Dates have a high nutritional value and are closely associated with the Kingdom’s heritage and customs. Tamimi Markets sells a variety of dates from Al-Hasa and other areas of the Kingdom.
The first Tamimi Markets in Al-Hasa opened a year ago. The supermarket’s focus on quality, freshness, variety, everyday low prices and quick service made it a favorite shopping choice for customers in the region.
Tamimi Markets operates 21 modern supermarkets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a publicly stated goal to expand to 50 stores by 2020. Tamimi Markets is privately owned by the Tamimi Group, based in Dammam.
